Make a colour text image in three steps

Enter a name, a slogan or a short lyric. Up to four lines, sixty characters each. The preview refreshes while you type, so there is nothing to submit.

Twelve ready-made looks: rainbow, sunset, ocean, gold, candy, neon, fire, ice, galaxy, chrome, holographic and a hollow outline. Each one is a real gradient — not a flat colour filter — and includes its own outline, glow or drop shadow.

Pick a canvas preset or keep Auto for a cropped result. Files are saved at full resolution with a transparent background option, so the image drops straight into Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp or a video editor without a white box around the letters.

Why the export looks sharper than a screenshot
Most “colour font” sites only swap Unicode characters, so the text stays plain black and loses its shape when you paste it. This generator paints the letters on the server with FreeType anti-aliasing, then layers a gradient fill, an expanded stroke and a blurred glow at the final pixel size. Nothing is upscaled from a small canvas, which is why the 1080 px and 1920 px exports keep clean edges even at high zoom.
Fonts and licensing
Every typeface offered here ships with the site under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which allows commercial use and embedding. That means you can publish the exported image for a client, on a shop listing or in an ad without buying a separate licence. See the Terms of Service for the full statement.
Common questions
Is the generator really free?
Yes. Rendering, the transparent background and the full resolution download are free and do not require an account. The site is funded by advertising.
Do I have to credit the site?
No credit is required. Personal and commercial use of the exported PNG is allowed.
Can I use my own font?
Not through the interface. Only the bundled open-source families are rendered to keep licensing simple for everybody.
Why is my text cut off?
Each line is limited to 60 characters. Use the Auto canvas, or shorten the line, so the text fits inside the chosen preset.
